Are you over there making excuses?

I am not quite sure what you have been putting off lately, but I am sure there is something. Either a book you have been wanting to read, a fitness routine you have been wanting to start, a bible study you have been meaning to try out, a phone call you have been meaning to make, a blog you have been wanting to start...Trust me, you are not alone, I have lots of things I keep putting off (like my 4 year olds baby book! Yep!), I am not saying I am perfect, but I am getting better at battling my excuses (I will get that baby book done)!!

You see, let me tell you a few things that may help you to ignore the excuses and just do it!

1. The timing will never be better. You will never be less busy or have fewer things on your plate. There will never be a perfect time, so now is as perfect as any.

2. You will never feel rested enough. I mean seriously, if you are a mom, when was the last time you truly felt rested?  So if you are waiting for that to happen, you will be waiting forever!

3. You may be waiting for support from someone close to you, a friend or a spouse. News flash, those people may never support you in the way you need them to support you. So are you going to let them keep you from starting?

4. You may never feel excited about it, even if it is important, the excitement may never be there.  So stop waiting until you feel excited!

Okay, so I hope I have empowered you to start something that you have been wanting to start and keep putting off!  For me, I am going to get back to that baby book and get it done! Haha!
