Abdominal Exercises While Pregnant
It used to be looked down upon to workout during pregnancy, but studies are showing how good it is for mommy and baby! When we are working out our abs we just have to be careful to not work our center ab muscles as this can lead to a condition called diastasis recti, or a separation of the abs. Many women get this during pregnancy, even if they are not working out, but we can avoid getting it or making it worse by not doing any crunches or sit ups during pregnancy. Do not worry if you do get diastasis recti, as it is very common and can be healed with proper exercise after pregnancy. Here is a video of a few of my favorite exercises to do while pregnant! Enjoy!!
