Are Your Circumstances Controlling Your Life? - Let Jesus Reign

Do not let the bad, hard, semi-chaotic or uncontrollable circumstances in your life control your life and the choices you make. 🙌⁣

I hear them all the time...hard things people are going through, some even HUGE blessings, but just difficult seasons. It stinks that we have to face struggles that are out of our control and that life is sometimes just plain chaos, BUT you do not have to let those things control the rest of your life. I am not sure what your hard is right now. Maybe adjusting to a new baby (blessing but hard), maybe in the middle of a family move, maybe amidst awful marriage struggles, maybe grieving loss, maybe work stress, maybe loved ones are sick or suffering, maybe just being a mom 🤦🏼‍♀️ (constant chaos, huge blessing). There is alot we face, BUT why let the hard, negative or uncontrollable bleed into the things in your life that you CAN control? Like your health and your personal mindset, or pursing a dream that you are passionate about! No one is stopping you, no one but YOU!⁣

Since I began my journey with coaching and fitness 3.5 years ago I have been through season of hard and transition trying to raise my children, my husband left a job, we moved as a family of 4, we had another baby, my husband lost his job, my husband transitioned to full time ministry, I have suffered from severe panic and anxiety disorder...and I am sure there are things I am missing! My point is that amidst these somewhat hard or chaotic seasons I have continued doing the one thing I can control that brings so much light, passion and purpose to my life! I have continued my own fitness journey and coaching others in every single season I have walked! Why stop something that is giving you life when other things seem to be draining your life?! ⁣

John 10:10 says, "The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life." Are you going to let uncontrollable circumstances steal your joy in life?? OR are you going to let JESUS fill in and help you live a fulfilled life?! Its your choice! When we choose to let the uncontrollable control us, we are letting the enemy win! I choose to let JESUS reign in my life!!
